Breakfast at Barneys

Breakfast at Barney's is one of the hot spots to have brunch in ATL and I see why! Upon arriving, there is a line (we waited nearly an hour). Fortunately, they have drinks for purchase before entering that you can enjoy while you wait. The food was yummy. The pancakes with the 24 Carrot gold flakes and fruit was delish and so was the lobster macaroni and the salmon cakes.

Slutty Vegan

The vibe check on Slutty Vegan is astronomical! Talk about making ordering food a whole experience. You are greeted by a very bubbly personality welcoming you at the door. There are theatrics if you're from out of state—they announce it over the loudspeaker. If it's your first time trying Slutty Vegan, they announce it over the loudspeaker, and I’m sure there are other occasions that warrant the loudspeaker celebration but those were the two I was there for. The staff is knowledgeable about their menu and extremely warm and welcoming.

Red Crab House

Red Crab House actually reminded me a lot of the Juicy Crab, and Juicy Crab is what jump started my new found love for shrimp and crabs 3 years ago lol. The snow crab and shrimp boil with Cajun garlic butter sauce was absolutely to die for. The drinks were bangin’ also.

Spondivits

Spondivits is a more traditional way to eat seafood. Unlike other known restaurants, the crabs are made lightly seasoned with a garlic butter dipping sauce. The crabs were enormous and good. Though I enjoyed the food and how fresh it was, my preference is to go to a restaurant where the crabs are actually marinated versus having to dip them for the extra flavor. I rate it high on the scale of the quality of the seafood, but I would say that it is medium in terms of flavor for me and I'm all about flavor.

Two Urban Licks

This place was beautiful. Great aesthetics but the food is lousy. I was really disappointed. I would recommend going there if you’re looking for a nice place to grab a drink but the brunch is mediocre.

Memories

Gurl Mobb Museum

Gurl Mobb Museum is Instagram heaven. The museum has 8 rooms with each decorated uniquely. You are sure to find a room that catches your eye to take the perfect Instagram flick. The staff is also very helpful and willing to aid you and your picture taking.

Top Golf

Top Golf is a chain high tech driving range with a lounge, drinks, and games. This was my first time going to one and I see why they're so popular. I recommend this activity for family fun or even date night.
